Its catchy and fun but nothing inventive. Reminds me of a beachier, more lovesick version of the blue album.
Basically if you like weezer I can't imagine you not liking it. I really liked it but I understand that its not really boundary pushing at all.
People will probably say its juvenile, but its obviously not autobiographical. I don't see why when you get older you should have to right older songs.
Noone gets mad at writers of children's books for doing it.

It's a good album and I'm happy for Rivers. Just appreciate it for what it is and don't compare it to other albums (obviously it's not gonna top blue or pinkerton). But yeah, good Weezer-songs.

I know this is a weezer album and isn't too hard to get, but the sentiment is the same.
I enjoy it a lot and it makes me feel happy.

it's like a bunch of old men pretending to have the same sort of youthful energy, innocence, and honesty that they've since lost
it's still ok if you don't compare it to pinkerton, miles better than anything they've done in years.

Mans, I've been a fan of blue and pink since middle school, I really really dig the sound. But this, (including everything else after Pinkerton) really sucks butts, you know? It's just so.. I don't know.. Over produced? It just sucks. Butts.

Fair enough. There is some charm to Greatest Man, it's just buried under a layer of trying too hard IMO. If you can crawl through that layer, good on you.
I do agree that Red is underrated, just for the fact that it doesn't deserve to be grouped with Make Believe and Raditude.
