That is a pretty comfy song. I like the R&B Gospel aesthetic of it. Also, he's got a nice falsetto for a pop singer pushing 50.

So is the song about music being able to save lives, or is he praising his rigid conservative middle class upbringing from saving him from "throwing his life away"?
Also why is he creating cookie-cutter overproduced mainstream music when the lack of allowed artistry in the profession drove him away from the industry in the first place?
