Is Ratatat pleb-tier music? I like their music but I don't think they are all that popular to normies

ratatat is one of those bands that get people interested in finding more good music. Most of my pleb friends know them.
For me they didn't really do much though, the production is too smooth and sleek, I feel like they dont have any edge to their sound and the songs are predictable. Its good for background music I guess.

They are just really 'over' by this point. When a band is no longer 'relevant' like ratatat, they become pleb. Not because normies don't listen to them.
