Ehhh sounds more crunchy than smashing poops. Id say...some of Incesticide and In Utero, Stone Temple Pilots were pretty crunchy, dunno abt pearl jam maybe not crunchy/dark enough. Dark and Crunchy! Thats grunge. A Bit Minimalist I guess. Not overzealous. Lazy sounding
