Hey everyone! I'm currently a finalist in a contest to meet David Gilmour as well as win a beautiful signature series Fender signed by no other than David himself! I have been inspired by his music all my life and have always considered him my strongest influence as a guitarist. It would be such an honor to be able to meet him and thank him for everything as well as be able to give him this drawing I did that is inspired by a combination of the man himself as well as Pablo Picasso's famous painting "The Old Guitarist". I don't think Gilmour would appreciate you drawing him with that combover and a guitar that doesn't resemble the one he uses.
Usually would say some shit about not being your personal army.

Maybe it's because his art is kinda cool.
I do sell my artwork but I mainly design artwork for bands and then its sold by them. (That second drawing was my first music poster for this band Twiddle based out of Vermont) Heres another poster I did for them of their debut show at Red Rocks Amphitheater on Colorado last summer.

Sorry this isn't something I would normally do...but its not like I'm attempting to form a personal army for some ill purpose...I don't see why you need to bring in your negativity. And trust me I know what kind of guitar(s) Gilmour uses... Im lucky enough to say I've seen him perform live. Some people just don't understand abstraction. (Heres a photo I took last time I saw him live in London since you can only handle looking at things as they are)
