Pleb or patrician?
The exact middle-ground.
I don't know, all I know is Kid A>>>>OK Computer

Coldplay are better overall.
/mu/ prefers Radiohead because they're experimental and Thom Yorke is a beta.
Prove me wrong.

well it is experimental ROCK i guess but there isn't a high standard for that tag
it's not actually experimental but compared to other rock it is
it's like noise rock most of it doesn't have much to do with noise music but it's noisier than most rock

isn't "experimental" an adequate descriptor when dealing with uncharted territories? kid a was pretty inovative for a rock album. it's experimental

What makes it a rock album?
The fact that a band that was famous for making rock music made it?
That would be using information from outside the work to describe the work itself, it doesn't make sense.
>>63848166
even outside of the rock context it would be still considered somewhat experimental
take how to dissapear completely, for example
it's a ballad punctuated by an ondes martenot and a full string section. how's this not highly unusual and, yes, experimental?
>>63848293
>a ballad with a string section
>unusual
the ondes martenot is a rarely used instrument, but it wasn't doing anything musically unusual.
