Does anyone here unironically enjoy blink-182?
>>63834701
yes. Can't wait for their next album with Skiba
A lot of my friends are into them. I'm kind of indifferent but the Delonge drama is hilarious.
>>63834701

Leave AOTY to us
Their music is so sterile and underwhelming. In every department
I've listened to their Greatest Hits album so many times in middle school and high school
They give me mad nostalgia and don't mind listening to them these days.
shite
Yeah, Enema of the State is a great crash-course for how to write pop songs, and the drumming is actually a bit "outside the box" for pop-punk (and pop in general, I suppose).
I get why they haven't been good for thirteen years tho - you can't keep up the "goofy youthful" thing they had
Yup, I have for 16 years
I do and I was very excited for their new shit after dogs eating dogs came out but now everything has gone to hell and i dont really care anymore
My first album was Enema of the State. But I don't listen to Blink 182 anymore and I stopped listening to them in middle school.

>calling that shit the crash course on how to write a pop song
What's My Age Again is pretty good
>>63836255
He means as in simple pop songs
I like their sillier songs but I find it kinda corny / melodramatic when they try to take on serious subjects.
>>63836311
Nostalgia mostly
U betcha
>>63834701
I like 'em.
If you don't like Adam's song, i don't know what the fuck is wrong with you
>>63836311
OP has made me go on a late 90's early 00's binge pop punk binge now.
I love it
>Those wishful aspirations for teenage years and what they'd be like
>Those bright days full of hope skating and learning new tricks, imagining your life on the pro-circut
>Flirting with that one chick who worshiped you but would now laugh you out of the room and probably has a kid
>Playing THPS with your friends
>Desperately looking for anything and anyone locally that might be 'alternative',
>Starting your garage band with your friends and talking about all the shit you're all going to do when your famous and on tour
It's a mixed bag but yeah, 99% nostalgia for better days for sure
Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch are solid albums, they are pretty shit otherwise tho
