If you are searching for rock i recommand you Noir Desir , you can start with their album "soyons desinvoltes n'ayons l'air de rien " . There is also groups like Telephone , Trust (more in heavy metal ), Mickey 3D, etc...
If you want folk music you can begin withLouise Attaque,Raphael,Guillaume Grand ,Renan Luce, we've got plenty of them here .
