I don't know anymore. The only genre I think I stay away from consistently are RTSs. I'm cautiously excited for the new mirrors edge and The Last Guardian. The last game I played through was Steins;Gate and that's a fucking VN. Oh, I guess Metal Gear Solid 5? I think that's what really did in videogames for me. Easily my biggest disappointment in the last five years of my life really, convinced me to sell my PC and devote more time to practicing drums and guitar.
In the end games are just another form of media, though I can't think of another which has do much unused potential.
