And I agree that tripfagging should be looked down upon. I am a hypocrite and I realize it but I am too lazy/apathetic to make an effort to change my desire to seek appreciation by using a name on /mu/. I say this not for that reason but because it is the truth. If anybody ever says something degrading to me/about me then I will probably agree, though that also does probably speak for my self-esteem as well.

At this point trip/namefags are so prevalent on /mu/ it's becoming normal. I'll be happy to try to aspire to that standard but I doubt most others will. The ethos of tripfags is saying whatever other people want to hear in order to be liked, and since /mu/ is such memey shit right now it will probably only get worse.
