Pic related is the first volume of a trilogy of albums by the psychedelic/stoner rock band Causa Sui. They're hella comfy, and these albums in particular all have that mellow, summery feeling you're talking about.

I saw them live about this time last year. They introd the show with a cheesy animation about taking photos with the flash on which was pretty hilarious. They also spoke to the crowd in samples which was absolutely incredible. Old TVs were placed around the stage playing the original video of the samples being played. And after all that, they had a fucking satalite in the middle of stage that had weird trippy stuff projected onto it. Honestly, if they ever play near you see them, crazy live shows.
This and Heavy Deeds by Sun Araw are pretty summer-y.
