I don't even understand Dutch but this guy has amazing flow. Anybody else ever listened to Sevn Alias. How is he looked at in the Dutch hiphop scene?

I'm Dutch and to be fair, the lyrics are shit. It's about how he has everything (cars, money, expensive houses) but he just wants more.
Basically your typical "gangsta rap".
Also, the way he mixes in Maroccan is quite annoying and is frowned upon in The Netherlands.

Holland has some really shitty hiphop in my opinion but I like Fresku though (but he's kinda whiny sometimes)
He makes fun of the stereotypical rap persona that a lot of hiphop artists and fans cling to.

He blew up pretty quickly in the rap scene and is even getting quite some exposure from mainstream media for an up and coming and relatively non-commerical rapper. He got to perform on DWDD (the most watched talkshow in The Netherlands) almost immediately which is quite uncommon for a rapper so early in his career.
He does have a few detractors because of his age/braces/buzz and because he speaks and raps almost exclusively with a moroccan accent (ma3lich is moroccan for "no problem" for example) even though he is surinamese/antillean. I'm moroccan myself but idgaf about his accent and besides nobody cares when MocrocManiac raps like he just got of the plane from Aruba
