Here's my theme, it's pretty vanilla iirc. Facets, simplaylist and everything else are the built-in complements. I took the layout shown in the teksyndycate tutorial and just changed the default playlist viewer for simplaylist.

Yeah Tolliver is a seriously underrated trumpeter. All his live and Music Inc albums are pure gold.

and to display the album covers you have to add a pane on facets and on that pane you have to chose the album column, then right click on the pane title and on display you chose album art (no cover).
