OP here. Humbug has three good songs, and they're amazing. But SIAS is just better in literally every other way. It pulled off that le hazy pastel A E S T H I C way better than Humbug and is wayyyy more consistent.

You're objectively incorrect. Literally all songs on Humbug are excellent, have interesting riffs, subtle melodies and masterful use of effects. Plus, lyrically, it's Alex's peak.

SIAS grabbed everything that made Humbug a subtle, complex, and unique, stripped it down and morphed it into a safe, predictable record.

Turner then proceeded to shit dumb 2pretentious4u bro lyrics (everything in Don't Sit Down Cause I've Move Your Chair, for example).

It literally has a handful of songs (She's Thunderstorm, Piledriver Waltz, Reckless Serenade) while the rest is boring shite
