My Morning Jacket is one of the greatest bands of the last 20 years not because of their great studio albums, but because of their fantastic live performances.

Shoegaze is best in EPs, it get too fucking boring otherwise. Same with the more hardcore punk stuff but that's more to do with listening fatigue.
