actually what I heard was that there's basically goin to be a new paid service offered by Soundcloud that's geared toward users who basically pay to stream stuff in addition to the current free setup they have. But that might not be the case. only time will tell

I've been hearing about the death of soundcloud for years now, they'd be foolish to alienate their user base, but who knows what they'll do with it. You'd think they'd be making enough money off of payed accounts, but even if you're making money, that's never enough for the investors.

can't come soon enough I fucking hate soundcloud. it's the worst. show everyone the wave form, stupid comments on the waveform, autoplays, random ass shit when tracks stop. the whole reason it's successful is cause retards dont actually like music and use it

ive heard about this and am slightly worried. its not much but i worked kinda hard on building up a small following on SC and my plays are hardly astronomical but alright and pretty much all i got. if soundcloud goes, i gotta start from scratch from somewhere which will really suck desu.
