What's /mu/'s honest opinion of this album?
MASTERPIECE
I enjoy it. It's not groundbreaking or high art but it's solid

kind of enjoyable but nothing exceptional
it's really enjoyable on a summer night, besides that it's just pretty good

This
GOAT porch music
sort of uninteresting but I guess it's alright
emo

It objectively was groundbreaking though in the emo field. Easily 80% of all emo today draws influence from it
LEEEEETS JUUUUST PRETEEEEEEEND
10/10 album objectively. Ask any Emo/Math Rock band
Surprisingly light and very pleasant to listen to, wasn't expecting that from an emotional album
8/10

Emo*, fockin' 'ell
Still one of my favorite albums. I've always liked it because it brings back memories of being just a dumb teenager, even though I never listened to it as a teen. The use of sparse lyrics is pretty touching to me as well.

How much emo have you heard man? Most of it is light listening aesthetically
>>63562828
I don't think that could ever said from a genre that derives from Hardcore Punk and Post-hardcore. There's a lot of light stuff but most of it is pretty energetic, and often pretty raw.
I listened to it a few times, it's pretty good but not as good as people are making it out to be

It's decent. I don't understand its appeal. 6/10
midwest emo is a literal meme genre.
7.5/10 it's good

A lot of the time I'm not sad so the lyrics kind of throw it off for me but this album has some of the best guitar work I've ever heard
