The undisputed best of the early '80s Synthpop album
Prove me wrong
>>63546707
Computer World exists
this was better
>>63546784
best synth pop album
and maybe best album artwork of all time
>>63546797
is this really that good? i didn't love it on first listen but i like kraftwerk in general so i don't know why it didn't click
should i try again?
>>63546847
get the fuck out
>>63546864
Yes. It's really good.
>>63546854
Solid album, but it's not the best synthpop album. You're forgetting Violator, The Man-Machine, Silent Shout & 604. Even New Order's compilation Substance is better.
Pleasure Principle and Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret exist.
>>63547001
fair argument, I'll give you that.
Still best cover ever though
>>63547011
NSEC is probably the single best cohesive synthpop LP of the 80s, and maybe a contender for all time (besides violator). the concepts it explores tie together pretty much seamlessly throughout the entire album and there's not one dull or questionable moment. it's about as solid as synthpop gets
>>63547048
I still don't understand how an album with such a stupid fucking cover can be so good
>>63547073
Age of Consent & Your Silent Face are fantastic though.

alin detected
>>63547137
The 80s style was too glam and kitch...
>>63547156
alin who?
>>63547106
Soft Cell are so underrated. I tried listening to Violator plenty of times, but could never get into it.
The Art of Falling Apart is also GOAT too.
>>63547146
Age of Consent is an incredible opener and Leave Me Alone is an incredible closer. Love New Order.
>>63547219
architecture is better just because it has new stone age
>>63547197
>The Art of Falling Apart is also GOAT too.
Agree, Heat and Numbers are two of the best Soft Cell cuts
Check out all these fags with their bad opinions
FUCKING hell
Either Ultravox - Vienna or pic related.
