Make psychedelics legal again and make it mandatory for people to shatter their egos and voila you will have better music!

I feel sorry for you.

Hallucinogens being illegal is one of the most pointless results of the war on drugs. At least with pot it's like, oh you're smoking so that's not good for your lungs, but hallucinogens have literally no downside unless you use them irresponsibly or are already mentally fucked up.
>>
>>63539779
this
I wanna drive around listening to Bing Crosby and Chet Baker and waterboard liberal college student protestors
>>

The 60's were a time of unmatch innovation, however, the golden age of music is now. You can listen to any album ever released from free online often in the highest quality if you are smart about it. You can download a software for free and make a professional sounding record for free and sell in to a global audience instantly for free with very limited corporate oversight.

it's basically heaven for music right now

Truth.

Also, this quote

>Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing. They open you up to the possibility that everything you know is wrong.

>>63539691
The 60's were the golden age of music, but the 21th Century is golden age of listening to music.
Think about it.

When removing age-old gatekeepers, there are a flood of amateur's cluttering up distribution. Just look at soundcloud threads here. The fact remains that just because you *can* record yourself, doesn't necessarily mean you *should*

Essentially with comes great power comes great responsibility. So far this current "Gold Age" as you call it has the power, but no responsibility.

It also has its benefits and it's still retarded that it's illegal. It's bad when people abuse it.
>>
>>63542028
Brain damage is a benefit?

Can you not read?

>>63542211
He never said that. He said it(pot) *also* has it's benefits. Can you read?
>>
>>63542245
Then it's a non sequitur
>>
>>63542256
Yeah I know, I'm just saying that saying
>Brain damage is a benefit?
is not what he was trying to say at all

IMO, it absolutely causes brain damage if used excessively and at too young an age, and often makes people lazy and antisocial. It can be psychologically addictive as well. But I support its legalization because it's no worse than alcohol.
>>
>>63542306
>Yeah I know, I'm just saying that saying
Stop replying if we are in agreement that that anon was being an idiot. No one cares about your LEGALIZE WEED LMAO XD shit.

>>
>>63542406

>>
>>63542465
...which is why it's a non sequitor. Do you even know how a conversation works?
