Is there a flowchart for these guys ? I'm trying to get into their music and I've already listened to both "Moving Pictures" and "2112". I really like both of them, especially their fist halves.

just listen to all of their bolded albums on RYM

based on the path you're taking, it sounds like you should listen to hemispheres next

Anything before Power Windows is good. After that it's hit or miss.

Hemispheres is fucking awesome. Listen to La Villa Strangiato on that album. Such a short album, but such a good song selection.

Gonna agree with this Anon. Hemisphere's is probably your next logical step.

Then you'll get into shit like 'Signals,' and for that I am sorry. The 80's was very much a hit and miss thing as Peart really began to experiment with lyrics and arrangements, and they all fell in love with synthesizers.

This, Cygnus Part II is a serious trip

Power Windows was good
>>
Farewell to Kings

I honestly like 80's period Rush

Grace Under Pressure, Power Windows and some of Hold Your Fire are all fine

Better than 90's Rush at least
>>

This, but those 3 are the only solid albums when they went synthshit.
>>
>>63523856
90's Rush was garbage. And like Roll the Bones, their current stuff, I'm not a big fan of. I saw them during their R40 tour in Columbus. It was awesome, except they had to start with their shitty present stuff.

Top and bottom 3?

For me

>Top
Hemispheres, 2112, Farewell To Kings

>Bottom
Test For Echo, Counterparts, Presto

I was honestly kinda ok with that format cause that latter period of albums all basically have 1-2 good songs worth keeping around, but it did mean less from Clockwork Angels which I really liked.

Fly By Night should be next.

Personally my favorite album is Grace Under Pressure and Signals followed by A Farewell To Kings.

The best band in the world. Hands down.
