I swear this satire bullshit is only brought up by bystanders and amateur journalists, not from the musicians themselves. But I assume that's how critiques work but I think it's just people parroting an observation without any substance at this point.
PC Music is generally described as a multimedia art collective, Hannah and all of the other manufactured pop acts under the label are just ironic Warholesque caricatures of pop music as a whole, like Andy's superstars i guess. It's not a particularly clever idea but I think it's funny as hell and love the whole shtick.
