How can one lineup even be so good?
that line-up is shit, op.
this line-up is the best all year
>>63426967
Primavera is indisputably the best of the year, but Levitation is easily the best in the USA
>>63426967
okay that's pretty good but it misses the old grime grime
>>63427000
Grimes is fucking horrible, especially live
>>63427000
Grimes a shit, saw her at FFFfest and her crowd was easily the smelliest, fattest, and tumblr-est audience all weekend
>>63427041
Would you say it was...grimey?
>>63426967
That's not primavera sound
>>63426995
>>63427352
Primavera is good, i'll admit, but
a) I'm not buying tickets to fly to barcelona when I live in San Antonio
b) I'll take the live experience of Sunn and Boris over all the B-list filler at Primavera
Subjectively, Levitation is the superior fest
>>63427082
oh you
I really do hate festivals.
If I want to see a band I'll see them at the venue their touring at, not a grab bag of them with a bunch of other shitty bands at a fest.
Doesn't look very good OP.
>>63427609
heres a (you) for the effort you pathetic fucking waifufag
>>63427533
What's wrong with bigger crowds and better visuals? Sure, I understand smaller venues can be fun, but festivals are often the only place to see the bigger groups without being price-gouged by re-sellers. Plus you can always find new groups at festivals
>>63427723
I don't like the social climate of festivals. It's like an invitation for people to act like retards.
I wouldn't mind if it I was going to one, but it's not something I hope for.
So I've been living in A country .which doesn't have festivals for the last 5 years. How much does a weekend ticket cos these days? First time I went to Glastonbury in 2002 it was 110 pounds. By 2008 it had gone up to 145. Last one I went to in Europe was
€110 which i thought was good value (Dour in belgium). I guess you probably dont get in for less than 200 now?
>>63427926
Most fests start at 170-200, ofc thats burger dollars so who knows. But you also have to consider all the jewery that fests pull like, parking, water, camping passes, etc which can easily put you over 300
>>63426904
>Radiohead, Pixies
Cool.
>grimes, The 1975
Absolutely disgusting.
>>63428032
In my day the weekend ticket got you all of the above, except for drinks and food which of course were ridiculously overpriced. At Reading you could walk into town and stock up at the supermarket. Shit festival though.
>>63426904
lmao it seems like we are getting remains of artists who are willing to go past Poland here
3rd tier artists there, headliners here
>>63426904
i only like tame impala
>>63426967
only flylo
>>63428249
nobody
>>63428300
You have a very limited and plebeian taste in music.
>>63428300
how many have you listened to, though? because that's sad
>>63427787
Go back to /r9k/
>>63428300
shit taste tbqhwyf
This is festival is so awful argh. It's the festival for the burgeois who only know the singles and the hipsters.
I went there in the 2008 edition...i swear i would never set my foot in there again. So awful...i was watching neil young and listening to the music from the secondary stage at the same time.
>>63426904
There's only three worthwhile bands in that whole lineup.
>>63426967
Bretty gud, still mad that i won't be able to go.
>>63426904
>courtney barnett
looks at me, i'm talking nonsense into a microphone and people seem to like it
>>63430428
explain this opinion to me.
