definitely underrated, I think in the future people will regard it more highly

all of them are great and unique in their own way but i've listened to them all dozens of times and Biophilia is the only one that still sounds as fresh and exciting as it did the first time

The Eye is amazing
what is Björk's most underrated song and why is it All Neon Like?
>>63425754
surprising that you chose Unravel, I think it kinda sucks personally. Props for picking Biophilia, I thought it was a masterpiece but people don't seem to celebrate it that much
>>63425754
>>63425846
I've given Biophilia plenty of chances but I can't get into it because I've always loved the production on Bjork's music and the overall sparseness kills a lot of it for me.
I dunno. It's got some that I really like on there too like Cosmogony and Mutual Core.

Sacrifice, Jóga, Come to Me, Venus as a Boy, Hyperballad, Hidden Place

Probably Vespertine, honorable mentions to Post and Homogenic though

Have to agree with KUKL's The Eye
>>63425914
I kinda felt the same way, having loved 90s playful Björk, but analyzing how each song's structure reflects the concept so well without compromising greatness made me appreciate it a lot more

>most underrated song and why is it All Neon Like?
it's actually 5 Years senpai
you were close tho
also i picked Unravel because there's just something about the stripped down simplicity of the visuals that really resonates with me, a lot more than the extravagance of a lot of her other videos
>>63425914
that calm sparseness is exactly what i like about it
the excitable, ambitious 90s bork all bursting with new and experimental ideas is a lot of fun but i feel like the more calm, mature, focused bork that made biophilia really sat down and focused on making a properly cohesive and fulfilling project that really rewards repeated listens
Atlantic is so good, she should have put in Debut imo

5 Years is great my friend, I love how the strings suddenly appear in the chorus
>>63426081
exactly, I find Moon's calmness irresistible. And Sacrifice has to be one of my favorite tracks from her
>>63426439
Damn. Didn't know Björk was so thic
>>63425709
Bjork with long nails is... something else. She usually doesn't use any polish or things like that. She even eats her nails a little bit if I don't wrong.

Is there even any other punk bands female fronted by a 16 years old girl outside Tappi Tikarrass?

yeeee my negro I love Hrollur
There's this perfect Soulseek download of all of Bjork's B-Sides and The Elgar sisters
>>63427187
Yep, I want to know though, my question was true. Is there any?
why are all bjork fans either virgins or faggots
>>63427296
>faggots
well her music is clearly very femenine (e.g. Vespertine), plus dance-oriented at the beginning of her solo career, and the fact that many straight men are reluctant to listening to female pop acts
>>63427315
why are you retarded
>>63427414
It's just a common place that you can find everywhere actually, it has no meaning. I'm straight and she's one of my favorite artist among many others.
Also generally:
>women listen generally to more men acts than women acts
>if a man listens to a female act he's gay
That's pure utterly retard logic.
>>63427579
I totally agree, but I have many straight friends that feel that way, like their perceived masculinity would be threatened or something
best björk b-sides, anyone?

grimes threads are shitposts m8, at least there's some music discussion here

Ok people, let's say with calm, that if you think today there is a more creative/influential/significative female artist more than Bjork is, you're naively wrong.

Fucking love this song. With the way she moves around while singing, it's like the creativity and expression inside just doesn't have the patience to wait until it's voiced.
>>63428681
Black Lake and Family live are like epilogues for the earth, vastly devastating and spiritually cathartic at the same time.
This bunch of songs from her punk past is my music for a whole day when I feel free. Her voice is so like out of limits and full of real life without boards.

Has someone been to one of her concerts for Vulnicura? I did, I was in this gig in NY, it has been memorable. She was truly fresh and powerful, also the acoustic of the whole concert was pretty accurate all the time, never heard her music so well in the past times where I've been to.
>>63431470
was hoping she would come to South America and then she cancelled the tour :(

You don't have to keep reminded me. I already agree.

The strings arrangement in this sounds like something that would come off from master Sakamoto. Beautiful indeed.
You guys should listen to this version of Triumph of a Heart.

I'm SO glad we established that Come To Me and The Anchor Song are better than everything on Vespertine
