Tracks with insane drums.
Albums, tracks or artists that make you go pic-related. You can't stop air-drumming.
Just stuff that has really amazing beats or drumming.
If other aspects are good then you get bonus points.

Holy fuck. This is really good.
The drums are really fucking repetitive though. 18 minutes of the exact same thing. I'm not complaining because it sounds good and has been complimented well with the guitar and vocals but there could have been more variety in the drumming pattern.
But I haven't gotten tired of it yet (although I suspect I will after some time).
Recommend more like this?

maybe not from a technical perspective but Mason's drums sound amazing

Can is really good if you want hypnotic complex drums. Tago Mago is probably their best album, i would recommend that

thank you for the recommendation senpai.
>hypnotic complex drums
Exactly what I'm looking for. Stuff that will make me instinctively begin air-drumming which I've noticed I do when I hear something good.
Even if it's not necessarily complex but the drums are good I do it (example pinkerton).
In Pinkerton, I realize that the drums might not be necessarily too complex but they go with the music so well that I adore this album.
Having said that I will now brace for a horde of patricians blasting my ass for liking this album and telling me that my taste is shit and I should kill myself for being such a pleb.

I've noticed that aphex twin really really likes to use the cymbal.
IS it just me or has anyone else made the observation too? That he uses the cymbal more than the average drummer?
