Because musicians are usually fat loser slobs (that's why they're became musicians: they couldn't hack it as jocks) so they can't travel faster than my grandma, let alone the speed of light.
It's a good question, though. Like why doesn't a mirror invert my reflection in the vertical direction? I can't think of a good answer.
