Some guy posted a few Lauren threads ago, a notion I agree with, that she'd be a lot better off if she ditched her two currents̶e̶x̶ ̶s̶l̶a̶v̶e̶s̶ partners and actually got some good industry producers. She could be on par with the best contemporary songstresses if she really wanted. Wonder what kind of hold they have on her to prevent her from flying solo.

I fully agree. Same with that Purity Ring girl. Their producers are absolute shit. Remixes or collaborations they've done with better producers sound so much better.

/mu/ may disagree, but because Grimes produces all of her music almost entirely by herself, the result is a much more cohesive and better sounding vision. Even if she's not the best singer or instrument player.
