The stigma and the preconceived notions about jambands in general. Phish in particular isn't very self-serious either.
That being said, I think way more people would appreciate them if they put that aside and listened to a live show to understand what they're doing.

I went to a concert in Toronto and it was probably the best show I've seen. Their musicianship and skill are amazing
but all mu thinks is DUDE WEED
