I'd argue the opposite: if theneedledrop has rated it, its definitely not good music. (regardless of the actual rating)
That's why he's never rated a classical album. Because classical albums are good, and popular music is not.
There's alot of different criteria, and you only need to meet some of them.
This is why people who say "I only listen to music for the message and lyrics" are just as wrong as the people who say "I don't even care about lyrics, only the music is important".
As mediocre as I find Dead Poet's Society, Robin Williams' speech about the criteria of measuring a poem's greatness also applies to music.
Sometimes, it just sounds good.
