would you consider this album psychedelic?
this is one of the few records my dad still has, and he said people considered TVU to be an psych rock band
arent they technically noise rock?
>implying noise rock isn't generally psychedelic

It's like, indirectly psychedelic. And then again very, almost in the sense My Bloody Valentine is. It is difficult to describe the psychedelia of Velvet Underground. Also Loud Reed is still a cunt.
you can consider everything in the celestial mainframe "psychedelic" if you wanted to man, words are just arbitrary representations of our surroundings and everything works as a machine in relationship to each other, man.
vibe on good chum

nah because psychedelic music has a very distinct meaning
I'd say I Heard Her Call My Name is pretty psychedelic
The improv during the gift and the fragmented story telling in lady godiva + sound effects definitely give me a psychedelic vibe.
Also, i heard her call my Name has always struck me as subtle nod to the way Jimi Hendrix played live. Cut the blues out and opt for speed in lieu of LSD and it's not too crazy right?

>speed
more like meth
& Nico is much more psychedelic.
TVU have several psych songs, but this album is more proto-punk
