Kimmo Pohjonen is pretty much the Jimi Hendrix of the accordion. Finnish guy. I recommend his recent album

No I'm really not very good lol. I am lucky enough to be within like an hour's drive of a specialized accordion shop but of course that's not everyone. iirc I paid like 300usd for mine. Highly recommend you pursue it though, it's fun as hell to play. Nothing else really matches the sort of density you can achieve with just a solo accordion. It's also super intuitive for songwriting/ learning simple folk songs once you get a grasp for the left hand.

Yeah, the closest accordion shop to me is like two hours away and I think their cheapest accordion was around 400 Euro. I'll definitely give it a go, another instrument to the collection even if it ends up gathering dust.
At least I have my harmonicas to quench my reed instrument thrist for now.

Oh that's not too bad.
Yeah self taught. There's youtube tutorials and such out there for anything basic you could want to know and if you already have experience with piano technique it will come quickly.
Lately I've had a revival in seriousness about improving though so I may seek out a teacher soon idk.
