this album is so good. My ex gf really liked Lonerism, but personally I really like their 'club friendly' style for this album. A lot of people on this board say that this album is shit, but I guess you either love it or hate it. Honestly I didn't like it the first time around. But I can tell you for 100 % sure that it's very after working your ass off week after week reducing fire fuels in the Arizona mountains and then driving off the mountain with your buddies through the desert on the weekends.

I totally agree. I like Lonerism just a bit better, but the synths make it sound godly.

I'd have to agree probably. lonerism is probably one of the best albums I've ever heard. I didn't fully realize that until recently, but I've also come to appreciate currents more than I did on first listen. I completely understand the obstacle he probably faced in trying to make currents better than lonerism, but he still didn't fall too far short

kevin said he wanted to make an album that was comfortanble to listen to, probsably meaning listener friendly
innerspeaker is more old school psych rock influenced, with some modern touches (it sounds completely modern to me, but its obvious the throwback sound was intentional)
lonerism is the bridge. it has psych rock influences like the solo on keep on lying, but for the most part it is 100% Neo psychedelia
currents is where its less rock more pop. its still very neo psychedelia based but more emphisis on 'pop' like what he wanted to do with lonerism, only even MORE radio/listener friendly
personally, i like currents the best. i cant wait to see what kevin does next
