As for requests, requesting Karafuto's "Light" EP's (Light Blue EP, Light Gray EP, Light Pink EP, Light Orange EP, Light White EP and Light Green EP). None of them are on slsk but I'd assume what.cd has them, it would be great if someone could check them for availability and upload them (or at least the ones which are available).
what's the point of an eternal sharethread? a couple of years ago, posters would wait until they had enough new, quaity shares saved up for a new thread
right now we have an eternal sharethread and lots of low-quality shares
>>63298687
General sharethreads featuring multiple sharers have always been of lesser quality than those featuring 1-2 dedicated sharers, usually trips.
I personally use this thread for it's request thread value. It's a shot in the dark, but still worth the risk.

Forever Breathes The Lonely Word is probably the best album to start off with, followed by the other ones like The Splendour Of Fear (dreamy guitar), The Strange Idol's Pattern And Other Stories, Crumbling The Antiseptic Beauty (features jangly guitar) and Ignite The Seven Cannons (Robin Guthrie from Cocteau Twins produced the album so it sounds more like a CT side project then Felt). Me and A Monkey On A Moon is poppy but for me it was one of the hardest to listen to, I don't know why though. Poem Of The River is also a favourite amongst fans but the terrible production ultimately lets it down. The rest are all for novelty's sake or Lawrence trying to do something different/showing off the talents of his band members - I remember Train Above The City having this bass solo and organ solo as individual tracks and I was thinking "ffs Lawrence..." As for compilations Absolute Classic Masterpieces is worth checking out for the Maurice Deebank instrumental Dance Of Deliverance and Felt's Penelope Tree, the former wasn't even on any of Felt's records but from Deebank's solo album Inner Thought Zone. I guess Lawrence's a real nice guy at times.

if you want more stuff that's basically Crystal Castles before Crystal Castles look into a short lived genre from the late 90s/early 00s called electroclash. Maybe I should remind myself about the genre and then post some stuff.
>>63326794
nah
>>63326878
I don't have that one, otherwise I'd share that one too. Sorry, familia
>>63326891
Yeah, electroclash is a solid genre. I recommend it
>>63326998
looking at a rym list to refresh myself and saw this about The Faint "Though occasionally accused of being backwoods indie kids trying to cash in on electroclash, they’re more than just Nebraska’s answer to Heaven 17. " what? seriously.... what?
>>63327072
I never thought of The Faint as being electroclash even though they have used synthesizers in their songs since at least Danse Macabre

neither have I really, but after looking at rym and wikipedia it seems like the term may have evolved over time... since now according to them stuff like fischerspooner and mount sims are considered electroclash now...
