Listened to it again recently and it's okay.
Gambino's never really been an interesting rapper despite his writers and comedian roles.
The production was better.

the tracks in the middle of the album, from the worst guys through to 3005, are all great, would make a great EP. everything else on this album is trash.

I'd say about the same. Some tracks don't stand out, but shit does he have some good songs on there. Crawl, Worldstar, 3005, Flight of the Navigator, Pink Toes... I'd say the first half is certainly better than second.
