Guitar pedal thread
>Whatcha using?
Sorry about the sideways pic. On moble
This belongs in /gg/, retard.
>tfw sold all guitar gear to survive

whats your opinion on that SP compressor?
My computer's mic is a shit, is there a good simple DAW on android to record different tracks?
I built most of these. Yellow one is a Great Destroyer, the center unpainted one is a delay, the top right unpainted one is a Foxx Tone machine, small unpainted one to the left is a tremolo, and the bottom pink one is a supersonic fuzz gun. I made the blue LPB-1 in the top right as well. I use the SPX90 reverb for shoegaze reverb, ala Mr. Shields.

Pretty good and versatile, mostly use it as a funk comp and lead boost
>>63255841
And of course, as usual, it flipped itself after I uploaded it.
I'm literally in the process of making my own guitar pedal using a Raspberry Pi 2 micro-controller.
It's gonna be a delay pedal, but I'm gonna convolve the segments of delayed audio with some inverse impulse responses to get some weird as fuck sounds.
>>63255893
thats pretty cool, got any pictures?
>>63255955
Not yet, I only got the parts for it today. I'm currently downloading the software to interact with the Cirrus Logic Audio Card, then I gotta format it onto a micro-SD card and load it onto the micro-controller.
I also have zero experience building cases for these types of things, so it may just look like a pile of wires and circuitry for a while.
Here's mine.
>>63255841
Is it hard to build pedals? I barely know anything about wiring/circuitry or any of that but I want to learn
here are mine, i also have a quadraverb, spx90, fx500 and a dr scientist bitquest that arent in the picture
>>63256173
would also be interested in learning to build guitar pedals
who /twodelaypedals/ here?
>carbon copy
>bright carbon copy
>wah
>chorus
plugged into an orange tiny terror. maxed out at full gain with two carbon copies sounds fucking awesome
I use two reverbs because the Holy Grail has the best spring reverb I've ever used. None of the TC spring reverbs come close.
ITT: the big muff pi

Pretty sure the big muff, the DS-1, and the tubescreamer are the most popular pedals.
The DS-1 and Big Muff are both fantastic.
>>63256716
i agree, the big muff is my favorite fuzz pedal
>>63256716
I have the ds1 and I really dont like it. It sounds really thin to me so I got a shredmaster and big muff :^)
I use an AMP Sim, I Get good tones, I usually use a modeled ibanez tube screamer and some chorus, my tone usually comes from my mesa boogie model on my AMP Sim so my Pedals are very simple
>>63256766
The tone setting on the DS-1 is really bright, try turning the tone nob down to 10 or 9 oclock. It gets some ridiculous fuzz tones out of it.

>Les Paul Sunburst
Great taste senily.
>>63256857
Thanks I'll try it. I think I might send it into daed sound too to mod it :^)
>>63255841
dude what does this sound like pls
Should I get the little big muff? Cant afford the big one, but I still wanna go full fuzz and sustain for day
>>63257252
the big big muff is only like $80, get a used one
I'm torn between using the shitton of crappy chink pedals I have, getting some classic Boss ones (dd3, ds1, ps2, etc) or just use the Zoom G1on that looks like shit but sounds pretty good
wat do?
>tfw poor
>>63255594
Looking for an analog polyphonic synth pedal to put my Stratocaster through. Any suggestions?
>>63257252
There's one called Big Muff Tone Wicker out now that's an improved little big muff.
I use the little big muff, sounds good and not a behemoth like the original.
VP1(phaser)>FZ-5(fuzz)>OD2(overdrive)>FDR1(reverb/vibrato)>DD5(delay clone)>Tutti Love(chorus)
That's it. Don't judge me, I'm a poor brazilian musician with no money to buy vintage boutique pedals.
I'm gonna buy more soon.
Does that guy who spam videos of his pedals still come here?

It'll always put the longer side of the image horizontally. Any portrait pics you take are going to be spun 90 degrees..
