overall rating is in parenthesis. you guys agree with this? I currently own a pair of sennheister hd 280 pros, have had them for about a year now and I love them. also have a pair of skullcandy earbuds for when I'm out on the go, they're cheap and they have the mic on the cord so I can use it as a hands free device if I'm driving. I honestly didn't expect sony to be this high. and to be honest, I haven't heard of the top three lol.
I have some shure earbuds and they're tops

I think everything above sennheiser is slightly out of my price range right now
i have an akg and i have no complaints
All the top brands makes generally more expensive headphones, it's no surprise they are top of the list really. Pioneer, Sony, Sennheiser and Audio-Techica makes cheap and really high end stuff too.

Shure masterrace reporting. I've got srh1540 (pic relsted) and se530 iems and nothing else I've tested in the same price ranges even compares.
i got the $10 earbuds from sony from walmart, they're fucking amazing. way better than skullcandy or philips or anything else in that price range
the difference between $10 sony and $300 shure headphones is pretty huge, but i only use headphones to work out anyways lol
