Pink Moon is about as folk as Mumford and Sons. It's cloying faux-folk for clueless teens who blab about how "feels" and "comfy" it is. No one in the patrician scene takes it seriously.

It is a really good album but I really don't think it is the best the genre has to offer. Cohen, Dylan, Guthrie, Lead Belly, Seeger, all have amazing folk releases to rival this one.
