Getting vinyl pressed does not take that long. There are Bandcamp artists that can crowdfund a record and ship it within a month. Maybe Deak has never used the postal system before and is too intimidated to figure it out himself

It does take some time if you want to get your album pressed at one of the more highly-regarded pressing plants. There's normally a waiting list.
Or you can take a risk with one of the cheaper and crappier plants and end up with a few thousand lower quality LPs with bad surface noise.
