Faith if you want a bit rougher post punk or the head on the door if you wanna jump into the beginning of the poppy synth era. Disintegration is the best, but listen to it after a couple more albums so you can see their musical growth

How can you like KMKMKM without liking Head on the Door? I can see how you could like one more than the other, but they are very similar albums. IMO
disintegration is their only album I like 100% the way through but its a fuckin phenomenal record.
I only like a handful of songs on most of their albums.
Why do so many mexicans like the Cure?
I'm an Anon and I like The Cure. Pornography is my fave.
I like their sad songs but not really their upbeat songs.

They love Morrisey too, partly because of the hair/style, but I think they like the really emotive, melodramatic singing. Listen to their own ballads.
And there's kind of a gothic streak in Mexican subculture too, a love for black and really moody stuff like The Cure.
Love them, faith is my favorite album.
