So much of Pablo's art was so crucially centred around taking sex and showing such a gross, vulgar side to it. It still riles people up 80 years later. I feel like asshole bleach may be Kanye's best line ever for fulfilling that purpose. Mixed with his self aware prediction via Old Kanye and this reaction just makes it more of a masterpiece for me.
Him fucking beheaded corpses in Monster video generated less controversy. He's somehow narrowed in on the most shocked part of western psyche with this line.
I was on the fence about the line when I first heard it at MSG but I really fucking appreciate it now.
Also the flow on those 4 bars arund the asshoel bleach line is actually amazing even if you ignore the actual words used. Might be my favourite flow of the last few years.
