How good is your harmonica? If it is cheap, that might be what is holding you back.

It's a hering black blues is it good enough ? This thing it's too frustasting, bending it's the coolest thing to do on the harmonica and I can't. It leads to a lack of motivation.

Yeah it looks good enough.
It is really hard to explain how to bend a note, but the way I got it was moving my lower lip to cover some of the hole, just keep trying to pull inwards and pull your tongue back. Keep it up, it's worth learning.

Sorry to hear that anon, I just bought my first harmonica two days ago and I thought that it was gonna take at least a month to do my first bend but it took me less than an hour to do it today...
My trumpet's 3rd valve snapped in half, and I used metal epoxy for hold it together. Still can't hit the higher octaves, or very low one.

I learned guitar as a teenager because I was into metal. Now I'm 18 and can't get into a conservatory for music. Oh well.
