i guess i'm confused. i mean i don't think springsteen is dad rock just because it's from the 70's and kinda cheesy and beautiful even tho it's on classic rock radio. what exactly defines dad rock? if someones dad likes it? i guess what i'm saying is that if that is the qualifier then anything could be dad rock and it's a meaningless genre.

either way, i will always love the first 7 springsteen records unabashedly. they're fucking awesome
