Typically after my first listen, but I do change the ratings most of the time after more listens. I only stick with a first time rating if it's a horrible album and I don't want to listen to it again.

after sitting down and listening to it on my computer I load it onto my iPod and go out for a long walk/smoke, and listen to it again. good strategy if you have a hard time focusing on the music cuz you're more worried about dumb stuff like binge rating
