There was one of these threads earlier, but it didn't really take off. I agreed with the OP though, Neon Golden is probably the best album I've found through /mu/, some good IDM/indie (indietronica but I don't want to get ridiculed)

Someone recommended me The Ex - Scrabbling at the Lock when I asked for "chamber punk" and they've become one of my favorite bands.

Yep, listened to all their shit. Turn is my favorite album of theirs. Waiting on a new album since they apparently have some songs not released yet that they've performed live recently.

I agree with this too much. Most of the happy music, or even the not sad or angry music I find is just unentertaining and I don't stick with it.

Sometimes I used feel this way, but I really think it is just because I am miserably depressed and relate to sad music. I feel there certainly is depth to some happy music.
Probably the Mark Hollis solo.
