Iommi, Geezer and Ward never ceased being able to make good music, I think, along with Ozzy, Dio, Ian. The Mob Rules being their last really great album for me, I do enjoy most if not all of their later stuff. They just cant be as good as all the ones before that. Of the Ozzy albums Technical Ecstacy is the only one that never got me. That one just doesnt do anything for me, but the ones after Mob Rules I quite can dig.

Well there's djent, a genre most say was started by a bang called Meshuggah. Youve also got crazy stuff like slam and deathcore, post black-metal, drone doom, fuck if i know. Youve got almost all sorts of crazy merging of genres. I don't know how much you know about new types of metal. Folk-metal could be foreign to you for all I know.
