I don't think that anything can "fix" /mu/ without destroying the things that draw us here. Elitists will always insult other elitists because they themselves want to be seen as elitists and they're too afraid of seeing their charade fall apart which prevents them from opening up to discussion. In order to have an actual discussion people need to put their elitism behind them and allow other people to have opinions even though they disagree with them. Asking humans to change their very nature within the confines of an anonymous image board just isn't going to work. Sure, sometimes here and there we'll see an actual discussion but in general /mu/ will always consist of one thing, dank memes and isn't that why we're all here?
