What music have you been enjoying lately?
I'm lisenting to SoiSong right now. It's basically the perfect music.

For fuck's sake. What if someone genuinely enjoys something considered /mu/core? They have "underdeveloped" taste because the album also happens to get shitposted on a Cantonese cartoon imageboard? Get off your high horse.
listening to a lot of the albums Papa Jo Jones, Art Blakey, and Max Roach are on. From there I'll move onto Elvin then go Tony and into the progressive/fusion era with Jack Billy Vinny etc
Outside of listening to music to study drummers I've been listening to contemporary gospel music, some contemporary jazz, some death grips every now and again, and yesterday I listened to that opeth album pale communion. It's alright I guess. A lot of Tony Williams Lifetime, Weather Report, Mike Mitchell's band Raché which released an album called Wifi. It's pretty sweet.
Going to watch Don Byron play with his gospel quartet tonight and then practice the rest of the evening.
There's no point in the threads when no one knows each other's choices. They just always become "check dis out" threads instead of any meaningful discussions.

They're what you call an experimental rock band from the mid-2000s which consists from 4 guys. I can't describe their music honestly, I wouldn't do them justice. If you want a better more in-depth analysis who the fuck they are I suggest reading the LONG essay down on the middle of their BC page.
