I know slam metal is kinda retarded but I kinda enjoy Abominable Pitridity and Abnormity, although they are more like brutal death than slam death.

The point of those genres is to be abrasive as fucc
Top 40 and Pop Punk when good are catchy as all fucc
Metal is ok because there's a lot of diversity, if you don't like the tempo or the lyricism or the vocals there's always some alternative, it's like playing dress up with edgy people
Trap rap can be dumb but poppier stuff is good to recline to
Country is just an offshoot of American Folk and can have good simple and catchy moments, but I don't listen to country so I can't cite any of those moments
Rap and Hip Hop are good when they take themselves seriously and don't rap about pointless feuds or the same basic lyrics about parties and drugs and money. Outside of the perpetrators of that shit it can get really well made
Electronic idk it's pretty diverse but I like chiptune

Pop, the type with blaring generic EDM beats and shrieking girls
Lots of pop punk is good, if not great, but a lot of it is just generic sounding simple bullshit.
I can listen to Chumped and Blink 182 for days, but Man Overboard and Real Friends make me want to punch somebody.
