I loved it. Yeah it drags a tiny bit in the second half but there are very few individual tracks which aren't great, and loads of cool standout moments.

Really wanted to like it but the only track I ever go back to is Fatal Flaw. The rest just feels like filler to me. And it's not like it's an easy album to think "yeah I'll give that one more go" considering how fucking long it is and how many of the songs sound completely alike.
The Monitor is one of the best albums I discovered last year (ye i know i'm late), so I had high hopes for it, but it just wasn't for me.
Their best record.
