Someone how it's racist because the Viet Cong killed people. I don't get it either. The Viet Cong are also considered heroes and liberators by the Vietnamese community and Vietnam and much of south east asia in general. It's just overly sensitive Americans getting mad because they lost the war to the Viet Cong.
they're alright
don't deserve the buzzband status that they've achieved, but their stuff is definitely enjoyable
First three songs are pretty choice
I'm not of the group of people that bullied them to change their name, but I didn't agree with it even before the whole name changing fiasco began. I have family that were in the Vietnam war and I think the name is edgy and their reason for naming themselves Viet Cong was weak and stupid.
