I feel obligated to point out that using Auto tune as a cheezy uncanny valley emotional effect is not using it correctly, it's a gimmick that got old the first time it got heard, and that auto tune is used correctly all the time on music you hear, but you don't realize it's being used because it's actually being used correctly, to correct pitches. When it's done correctly you don't realize it's being used at all, because it's just there to fix details of a musical performance.
